Preventive Services:

Examinations - comprehensive x-rays and examination of tooth conditions such as decay, wear, fractures, alignment and function. Examination of the gums and bone that supports the teeth to include documentation of infections and pocket depths. Includes cancer screening and evaluation of TMJ. All case are documented with digital x-rays and intra-oral photographs

Cleanings - routine when performed every 6 months

Sealants - white plastic coatings used to cover the biting surfaces of back teeth to protect against tooth decay.

Restorative Services:

White fillings (Composites) used to restore small areas of decay, return the tooth to health and strength

Crowns or "caps" are used to cover and protect the tooth when damaged by larger areas of decay. Crowns serve to restore the tooth to health and to protect against fracture and loss.

Root canals are used to treat diseased nerves infected by deep decay. Today this treatment is performed in one appointment using progressive technologies that are fast and comfortable.

Bridges are a series of crowns that are used to replace one or more missing teeth with a restoration that is “fixed,” that is, it stays in the mouth and is not removable. These replacements are anchored or supported by your natural teeth. They look and feel natural and are the most affordable of replacements.

Splints or night guards are used to treat clenching, night grinding or TMJ pain. Today’s appliance usually covers the upper teeth and is made with soft plastic material on the inside to eliminate soreness and provide comfort during wear. A hard plastic on the outside protects teeth from the constant trauma of clenching and grinding.

Implant Restorations:

Implants are metal titanium roots that are placed in the ridge and used to replace missing teeth without disturbing the adjacent teeth. Often used when the natural dentition is missing or not strong enough to support a bridge.

Implant supported dentures and partials allow you to say goodbye to the pain and embarrassment of loose dentures and partials. More and more often, implants today are used to support dentures or partials that are loose and uncomfortable when sitting directly on the gums. This combination of dentures over implants creates the happiest of patients in our practices.

Veneers are thin porcelain shells that cover the front parts of teeth and improve color, shape and form. Often called "instant orthodontics" because they can also correct alignment and create a perfect smile. "Empress" is the most beautiful of veneer materials that gives life-like translucency and color. Used exclusively in our practices it will deliver the results you are looking for.

Home Bleaching is the most predictable method for whitening teeth today. Soft plastic trays are used to hold a mild bleaching gel that when used at night for 3 weeks will improve the color of teeth dramatically. Affordable, convenient and gives a longer- lasting result.

ZOOM or in-office bleaching, although fast, is not often as predictable or long-lasting as the home bleaching method. This in-office procedure delivers 60 minutes of intense bleaching and a home kit for touch-up bleaching. Plan on a 2 hour appointment, as set-up and post-op instructions usually require additional time. This procedure is often used by patients for unexpected needs, such as a family engagement or a work-related activity, when looking your best is your immediate goal.

Bonding uses composite (white filling material) to improve the color, form and alignment of teeth. Used when a quick and economical solution is needed but not as long-lasting or precise as porcelain veneers.

Contouring is used to make minor adjustments to the form or shape of teeth. Teeth are re-contoured by slight shaving of enamel to create better harmony and appearance.

Oral Surgery

Routine extractions of “baby teeth” are “wiggled” out quickly and comfortably on kids.

Surgical extractions for most wisdom teeth, non-restorable teeth and in preparation for orthodontics are done in the office.

Impactions, or infected teeth covered by gums or bone, are usually removed in-office. More complicated cases are documented and referred to specialists.

Periodontal Services:

Full mouth debridement - a more focused cleaning for the removal of hard deposits that have accumulated for more than 6 months

Scaling and root planning - meticulous removal of hard tartar and calculus deposits on infected roots surfaces below the gum line and between the teeth

Arestin or chemical medicaments - used to treat deep pockets of infection. This strategy often is used to avoid expensive future surgical procedures.
